Welcome to our Bohemian Farmhouse & Summerhouse in Kockengen – two unique 19th-century accommodations where vintage charm meets natural elegance.

The Hay Barn

The Hay Barn is a bright and peaceful space equipped with a large meeting table for up to 14 people. It features a Nespresso machine, wood stove, beamer, flip chart, and printer,  everything you need for a productive and inspiring session.


The open layout and serene atmosphere also make the Hay Barn ideal for yoga sessions, retreat activities, or small group workshops.

If you have an early meeting on the day of arrival, or wish to stay for a late session on your departure day, you're welcome to book the Hay Barn as a private workspace.








The space is available exclusively to overnight guests, and the rental cost is €300 per day or part of the day.

Please note:


We rent out the Hay Barn exclusively to guests staying overnight.
However, as with any good rule, there can be exceptions. If you're looking for a last-minute meeting or workshop space, feel free to email us at info@boho-experience.nl to check availability.

BEAUTIFUL home; the pictures do no justice. There was eclectic art everywhere and chic little surprises throughout. Incredible garden and outdoor patio.
It felt like worlds away from Amsterdam but was only a 25-35 minute drive, and gave a great peek at the countryside.
As is common for old homes, a few things did not work but if you are easygoing then it shouldn’t be a problem :)

I spent the weekend here with my adult kids and partners, and we had a wonderful time. The outdoor kitchen and the cozy fireplace on the veranda made our evenings really special, and the jacuzzi was such a treat—we used it several times a day. We also loved the large garden with its many spots to sit, relax, and eat, surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers. The interior was equally lovely. Nicolette was a wonderful host and made everything easy and welcoming. We’d love to come back—highly recommended!

  • How many guests can stay at the Bohemian Farmhouse and at the Summerhouse?

    14 people in the Farmhouse & 10 people in the Summerhouse

  • Is the house suitable for children?

    Yes, children are very welcome! The spacious garden offers

    plenty to explore, including our friendly bantam chickens and

    a living willow dome. Please note: there are ditches

    surrounding the property, so supervision is recommended.


  • Can we come with a group for a workshop or teambuilding session?

    Absolutely! The space is ideal for medicine retreats, workshops, creative gatherings or company overnights in an inspiring and peaceful setting. Our converted hay barn

    serves as a beautiful meeting and yoga space – available by advance reservation to begin or end your session in style.

  • Is there WiFi in the house?

    Yes, free WiFi is available throughout the house.

  • Can we have a private cook?

    Yes you can, we can offer you our fantastic Italian, International cooking chef cook Terenzio who also gives workshops in making pasta and things like that. Please have

    a look at our menu. 

  • Is there parking on the property?

    Yes, there is free parking available:

    – 3 spaces between the hedge and the front of the farmhouse

    – 5 spaces in front of the summerhouse

    Additional cars can be parked on Industrieweg, along the field side (3rd street on the right after the bridge, near the

    glass containers).

  • Can we play music?

    Yes, there is a Megaboom Bluetooth speaker available for indoor use. We are not a party place.  It is absolutely not possible to play music outside as we really need to  respect the peace and quiet of the area and our  sweet neighbour's. Please share this with your group. For the same reason you can use the Wellness area latest untill 22.00. 😊 🙏🏻

  • Are pets allowed?

    Sorry no, we have 2 cat’s and 1 dog roaming around and every time she have a strange dog visiting, our cat’s disappear for days.

  • Are there supermarkets or restaurants nearby?

    Yes, several supermarkets and restaurants can be reached within a 10-minute drive.

  • Can we use the BBQ and fire pit?

    Yes! A charcoal BBQ and a fire pit are available in the garden. Firewood and charcoal are  provided.
